Nice quality full-size German Wolff Brothers violin made in 1895 labelled “Wolff Bros, Violin Manufacturers, Class 3, No 2592, 1895”
This violin is in very good playing condition, fully blocked and lined, purfuling neatly inlaid and the instrument having excellent edge work. Nicely flamed two piece back, ribs neck and scroll. The varnish is golden/brown in colour and completely original. This violin produces a deep mellow tone with good volume across all strings. Back length is 35.8cm
